Some helpful tips from CTC and CWC!
MOBILE DATA SETTINGS & ENABLING VOLTE
Has your mobile data or picture messaging mysteriously stopped working? Odds are, your phone has recently had an update. Not to worry, there’s just a few settings you need to check.
IPHONE USERS
VERIFY/UPDATE APN
1. Click “Settings”
2. Click “Cellular”
3. Click “Cellular Data Network”
4. Next to each field where it says APN, type cwc.apn
5. Next to the field that says MMSC, type in http://mms.cordova.mobi
6. Restart device
ENABLE VOLTE
1. Click “Settings”
2. Click “Cellular”
3. Click “Cellular Data Options”
4. Click “Voice and Data”
5. Toggle on “Volte”
6. Restart device
ANDROID USERS
1. Click “Settings”
2. Click “Mobile Networks”
3. Click “Access Point Names”
4. Click “Add”
5. In the “Name” field, type CWC
6. In the APN field, type cwc.apn
7. In the MMSC field, type http://mms.cordova.mobi
8. In the port field, type 80
9. Check to be sure that the field next to “APN Type” is blank. If it is not, delete out the text
10. Click SAVE (found by tapping the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner) and restart your device.
